our services

understanding local culture

” democratic governance is complex and takes time to establish “

cultural services

understanding local culture and history is a key requirement in a post-conflict environment. training and mentoring the local population ensures this knowledge and skills are embedded.

careful consideration of ongoing issues is factored in when developing and implementing solutions. our methodology whilst delivering training and mentoring projects is based on our cornerstone.

” PRS supports the ongoing development of international governments, private companies, and NGO sectors by safeguarding their infrastructure and protecting their assets and personnel, both foreign and local, and by working with these organizations towards a better world “

given the need to train and mentor the local population and the ineffectiveness of merely imposing a Western system, efforts to enable democratic governance need to be understood as long-term projects that require a long-term commitment. training is delivered at a suitable pace mindful of the need for transitional learning before effective mentoring.

post conflict support

around 1.5 billion people live in countries affected by cycles of violence and insecurity. these countries represent a central challenge for development and are a priority for many states’s national security interests. sustained and coordinated support is required to tackle the risks and vulnerabilities inherent in such situations.

AMGS consultants have a significant amount of experience with infrastructure-related projects that have impacted conflict or disaster areas.

AMGS draws on the experience of our consultants and training teams employing skills developed on previous contracts in unstable environments such as Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya.  previous assignments have included supporting the rule of law and domestic security as well as defense capabilities, including :

to effectively manage these environments requires both a holistic and strategic approach: our consultants mitigate the exposure our clients face allowing them the opportunity to improve the local infrastructure provision. infrastructure providers in post-conflict situations face many difficulties whilst facilitating change, especially in unstable environments where there has been a recent end to hostilities.
